NerveCraft 2024 Workshop

The Anaesthesia department of Sehgal Neo Hospital (SNH) hosted the NerveCraft workshop 2024 under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Brajesh Kumar Singh on March 31, 2024, from 8 am to 4 pm. The theme of the workshop, NerveCraft, focused on "Ultrasound-guided Regional Anaesthesia," specifically targeting limbs. The workshop commenced with a comprehensive Masterclass led by Dr. Devesh Arora, the lead faculty for NerveCraft 2024, followed by an extensive Hands-on Training session. Participants delved themselves in the intricacies of ultrasound-guided procedures, with a special emphasis on limb regions. Distinguished faculty members from prestigious institutions across India, including AIIMS-Patna, AIIMS-Delhi, Safdarjung Hospital, BHU-Varanasi, Ganga Hospital-Coimbatore, Maulana Azad College, Lady Hardinge, and Ganga Ram Hospital, facilitated the Hands-on Training. Reflecting on an enriching day of learning and skill enhancement at Sehgal Neo Hospitals NerveCraft 2024 Workshop, attended by 150 participants, the atmosphere was electric with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to advancing regional anaesthesia. Participants engaged in discussions and shared their experiences and challenges in administering various regional blocks, such as Supraclavicular, Interscalene, Infraclavicular, Costoclavicular, Auxillary, Distal Nerves, Sub gluteal sciatic nerve blocks, and more. As one of the youngest specialties in medicine, Anaesthetists have established themselves as leaders in patient safety and quality of care. The introduction of ultrasound guidance has revolutionized anaesthetic and intensive care practices. Focused conferences like NerveCraft are instrumental in educating future generations of young anaesthetists.
